Denture Relines & Rebases in Winnipeg
Is your denture loose, uncomfortable, or requiring more adhesive than it used to? Your mouth changes over time — and your dentures should keep up. A reline or rebase can restore a comfortable, secure fit. often the same day.
Overview
What Are Denture Relines and Rebases?
Over time, the bone and tissue in your mouth naturally change in shape — particularly after tooth loss. As your gums shrink and your jawbone remodels, even a perfectly fitted denture can gradually become loose or uncomfortable.
A denture reline adds new material to the fitting surface of your existing denture, adjusting its shape to better match your current gum contour. It's a cost-effective way to restore the comfort and stability of a denture you already like.
A denture rebase replaces the entire acrylic base of your denture while keeping the existing teeth intact. This is typically recommended when the base has become brittle, warped, or has been repaired multiple times — but the teeth themselves are still in good condition. The result is essentially a new denture base with your existing tooth setup.
